Zoom
Workshops will be conducted using Zoom, an easy-to-use conferencing program that allows for multiple participants. You will be able to communicate with your instructor and classmates.
To join your Zoom workshop:
1. You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a speaker or headphones and a camera.
2. You will receive an emailed invitation for your Zoom workshop. The invitation will include a link to join as well as the 9-digit (usually) Meeting ID. All most people will need to do is click on the link to join the workshop. If this is the first time you’ve used Zoom, this link will take you to a website where you can download the Zoom program or app, depending on what device you’re using.
3. Try to go to the Zoom website (https://zoom.us/download), the Apple App Store, or the Google Play App Store (for Android devices) to download the free Zoom program before the start of the workshop - search for "Zoom Cloud Meetings" and then click install.
