Gerone Daisy Bouquet, Half Day
Thursday, 8/14/2014 - 8/14/2014, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Brazilian Embroidery is a type of surface embroidery unlike any other. It is created with lustrous, vibrantly colored rayon threads using a variety of 3-dimensional stitches. In this class, learn some of these as you create this daisy bouquet. The designs are wonderful additions to crazy quilts and many of the floral applique quilts seen today. Beginner level. Materials List: Gerone Daisy Pattern/Kit, $18 payble to instructor. Students bring small scissors, 6” embroidery hoop. Optional: Ott light.
