Kristin started quilting in 2005 when she opened Fiber on a Whim with her mother. She enjoys all aspects of working with fiber, but her passion lies in mixed-media. Her work has been part of several traveling exhibits.
Watercolor Landscapes, Half Day

Use scraps of hand-dyed fabric to create a 12” x 12” fabric painting of a tree or flower. Fabric values, placement and blending are key to making your art quilt sing. All levels.
Materials List: Materials fee $20/student, payable to instructor, includes hand-dyed fabrics, MistyFuse, base fabric, tulle and parchment paper. Students bring fabric scissors, pins, pencil, rotary cutter and small rotary cutting mat.
