Bobbie and Joel Bergquist are husband and wife quilt makers, manufacturers and educators who strive to keep things simple, quick and fun. Bobbie was the inspiration for Quilters Treasure whose goal is to give quilters an artist palette. Bobbie wanted to make a stained glass quilt and found nothing available to meet this need. Joel, created fabric which has inspired her and many other quilters to expand their creativity. They have successfully sponsored a mentor program bringing new designers into the quilting world & sponsor their yearly “Quilters Treasure Challenge.”

Do you love the look of stained glass? Are you intimidated by appliqué? Now you can learn a quick, easy and fun way to make stained glass quilts! You will be able to convert stained glass patterns and apply this simple technique. You no longer have to use raw edge, registration marks, paper piecing, reverse appliqué, satin stitching, fusible web, etc. Your quilts will be soft, not stiff.
NEW - learn how to use one stained glass block in over 22 different ways. Beautiful Building Blocks is a new way to create your own quilts, any size you like. Learn how to make stained glass quilts & wall hangings. You will learn how to piece, stitch and quilt at the same time reducing your stitching by 50%!, This workshop is fun for everyone, and appropriate for all levels.
Materials List: Kit Fee: $45.00 paid to the teacher in the classroom. Kit includes top, marbled fabric, leadline, full size pattern, instructions and complete tool kit with Roxanne Glue-Baste-It and applicator, Aleene’s Tacky Glue and applicator, Sixth Finger and presser. Bring to class: Black Magic Marker, pencil or marking chalk, masking tape & ruler.
