Eti David

Eti started working in patchwork and quilting 32 years ago and since she was already a teacher of art, began teaching quilting as well. Her quilts are mainly art quilts. In 2005, she went to the Quilt Surface Design Symposium in Ohio and became familiar with fusing. This technique changed her attitude towards art quilting. Eti’s influences are daily life, nature and Israeli painters. She uses commercial fabrics as well as her own hand-dyed fabrics. She has taken part in many exhibitions in Israel, Europe and the USA. In May 2013 she had a solo exhibition in Holland. Eti is also the Israeli coordinator for the World Quilt Competition.
