VT/NH/ME Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) Regional Meeting

World Quilt New England will host the summer regional meeting of
SAQA On Saturday afternoon, August 20 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the quilt festival in the Radisson Center of New Hampshire in Manchester.
Guests and members are invited to attend SAQA’s summer regional meeting of local quilt artists from Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Topics for the meeting include discussion on pertinent aspects of professional development to aide in the presentation of your art, a slide show preview of regional quilts donated to SAQA’s Fall Benefit Auction and Show ‘n Tell of members’ recent work. Additionally, this is a marvelous opportunity to meet and network with fellow fiber artists that you won’t want to miss. We look forward to seeing you at Mancuso Show Management’s World Quilt New England event in Manchester, NH.
In addition to Saturday’s regional meeting, the SAQA members are
presenting a special exhibit at World Quilt New England. For their exhibit, A Piece of Me, the ME/NH/VT Region of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) issued a challenge posing the questions “What is an art quilter?” and “What does it mean to be an art quilter?” Participants were asked to make an 8” x 10” little quilt in answer.
