Mancuso Show Management is excited to be introducing the fourteenth annual Quilt & Sewing Fest of New Jersey tomorrow, April 26th. From Thursday to Sunday the quilt festival will be open to the public. Located at a new location this year, the show will be held at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center in Edison, New Jersey. The facility is in the Raritan Center at 97 Sunfield Ave.
For those interested in exploring the Merchants Mall and viewing a beautiful display of over 400 quilts, wearable, and textile works, general admission is $13. This includes re-admittance and can be purchased on-site during show hours (Sunday only admission is $11). Accompanied children under the age of 16 are admitted for free. Interested in group rates? Discounts for groups of 20 or more can be arranged (call 215-862-5828 for more details). The show opens its doors promptly at 10 am and will close at 5 pm. On Sunday the show will close an hour earlier at 4 pm.
Anyone wanting to take a workshop or get a quilt appraised can do so at the festival’s registration desk. A registration fee of $20, that includes show admission, is required to sign up for any workshop. There are 10 instructors teaching 14 different workshops so you are sure to find a class you’ll like!
