Prepare to be amazed by the world of Fashion at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza. Witness amazing works of fiber and fabric in not just ONE, but THREE different Fashion Shows moderated by Karen D. Boutte. Included with admission, these Fashion Shows are sure to inspire, Friday Sept. 16 through Sunday Sept. 18, 2016.

PNQE’s fashion show moderator and instructor, Karen is a 
nationally known quilt instructor, lecturer, author and designer of original quilts and garments. She encourages her students to free their creative spirit, enjoy the process and above all, have fun! Karen specializes in teaching basic and intermediate quilt making skills, embellishing and decorative stitching. Karen enjoys the freedom of designing quilts and creating art to wear. In addition to moderating three fashion shows, Karen is also teaching a full-day work shop on Thursday, September 15:
Delightful Diva Designs – Designer Collection Jacket
Choose your favorite designer fabric (i.e., Kona Bay; Michael Miller, RJR, Moda or Lonni Rossi, to name just a few) and create a jacket using a purchased sweatshirt for the foundation. The “Diva” will teach you the techniques for designing and constructing your jacket including preparing the foundation, layering the background, adding embellishment and decorative stitches. All levels.
