Pepper Cory Returns
to the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza
The 2016 teaching staff at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, September 15-18, 2016 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, is sure to enlighten – from beginner to advanced there will be something for everyone. Presenting this year is Pepper Cory, a longtime favorite at Mancuso Show Management’s festivals.
Active in quilting since 1972, Pepper Cory is known for her eclectic use of color and her personalized one-on-one approach to teaching. The author of six books and numerous articles, she also designs piecing templates, quilting stencils, and fabric lines. Pepper shares her enthusiasm for quilting by teaching and lecturing throughout the United States as well as internationally. Pepper also blogs about learning to quilt Pepper at the Quilt Studio and shares photos and commentary about vintage quilts at Quilt Flap. When not quilting, she can be found on the beach near her North Carolina coastal home.
Pepper both machine and hand pieces, but prefers hand quilting for her own work. Handling a needle gives her, in her own words, “A kind of high.” And, while she collects antique quilts, she creates contemporary quilts with all sorts of fabrics.
A longtime instructor, Pepper brings a sense of humor and confidence to her classes. Pepper is presenting three full day workshops at PNQE. For details, please click here.
