In addition, she uses dimensional flowers for decorative art, wearable pieces, show ribbons, and other craft projects. Take a virtual trip into an Indonesian batik factory. See slides and video detailing two basic processes used to produce batik fabric: Batik Tulis (hand drawn batik) and Batik Cap (stamped batik). Batik making tools, batik fabric panels and clothing will be on display. Discussion will also cover the cultural underpinnings of Indonesian batik fabric as we know it today.
